@Ches – If you don’t see the mask checkbox when going into Event Pan/Crop for a clip, then your version of Vegas doesn’t support it.

Thanks for the video.
I have the Sony Vegas Platinum 9 Pro, can you tell me does this not have the mask button you used to allow me to use a free pen to trace around the area to be cut out.

Hi, i’ve been using Sony Vegas for a while now. I recently upgraded from Sony Vegas 7 to Sony Vegas 8 Pro. However, just recently Sony Vegas Pro 8 has started to go funny with me. Everytime I try to open it up it says something about the Active X control not working. It then says something about the scripts not working. If you can and are willing to help me I would greatly appreciate it. I have tried uninstalling in then installing it again but it didn’t work.

please help me!
