Justin.TV Releases Free API

Today Justin.TV, the popular live video streaming service (ala Ustream), released a developer API that allows you to integrate live video into your web sites however you want…and for free.

The idea behind it is that developers will use the API to develop new and creative tools, helping to bring live video more on par with the dominant web video format; pre-recorded videod (ala YouTube).

An example of this is CamTweet…a service from Justin.TV that allows you to Twitter with live video (sort of…you can see a demo here).
