Italy Wants It’s Citizens To Have Government Approval To Upload Web Videos

In a bit of a bizarre story, Italy is seeking legislation that would require the citizens of Italy to have government approval for any videos they upload to the web.  This would make Italy the only western country in the world employing Internet restrictions like those found in China or North Korea.

There’s plenty of opposition to the proposal though (as you can imagine).  For the full…albeit somewhat confusing details…you can get the full story from the San Francisco Gate by clicking here.
