Ion Twin Video Camera Records Two People At Once

In the spring or summer of 2010, a new Flip-style camera will be released that allows you to record video as you normally would…while simultaneously recording yourself.

The camera is called the Ion Twin Video from a company called…you guessed it…Ion.  The Ion Twin Video records to standard SD or SDHC memory cards and comes with a high-quality stereo microphone.  It has lenses on both the front and back of the camera, allowing you to record two things at once.

This “two camera” effect can be displayed in the final video as picture-in-picture (big video with a smaller video inside) or side by side.  Or optionally, you can show the video from only one of the cameras.

No price has been set yet on the Ion Twin Video…nor have any other technical specs been released (like recording format or dimensions).  But if you’d like to see a video of the Twin Video in action, just watch below:
