While popular video sharing sites have played a big role in the explosion of web video, they are not always an ideal choice for businesses or professionals trying to get their message out to people.

The most popular sharing sites, like YouTube, have such a vast number of user-generated video that over half of the videos uploaded end up getting less than 500 views. Other sharing sites specifically prohibit (and remove) any videos that contain marketing language.

That’s where a site called eCorpTV.com comes in. It’s a video sharing site designed specifically for businesses and professionals…and a site that eliminates the problems I mentioned above.

In the video below, I interview Ali Swiatkowski of eCorpTV. In the interview, we talk about the advantages eCorpTV offers over traditional video sharing sites, how these advantages can impact your bottom line and how you can start using eCorpTV today to promote your own business through web video.

Earlier this week I sat down and did a video interview with Thom McFadden. Thom is an acting coach and creative consultant in Hollywood. In fact, he’s known as “Hollywood’s Coach To The Stars” because he’s worked with celebrities like Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford, Sean Pean and more.

On top of that, if you’ve ever seen the World Series of Poker on TV, Thom has worked with some of those folks on how to manipulate their opponents by using body language.

But what Thom and I talked about during our interview, was how to dramatically improve our performance in our own web videos.

It could be that right now you’re hesitant to appear on camera (many, many people are); maybe it’s because you find it embarrassing or you think you have a “face for radio”.

Or maybe you already are appearing in your own web videos but would like to come across more natural and engaging…where your true personality really comes out.

Whatever the case may be, in this interview, Thom shares some priceless tips that will not only get you in front of the camera…but will make your performance in your web videos immediately better than 95% of the other people out there.

Sorry, this video has been removed.

Earlier this week I sat down and did a video interview with Will Franco of jiveSYSTEMS, where we talked about one of the fastest growing areas on the web…video email.

Will is an expert in this area. In fact, some of his clients have earned as much as $4,000 in a single day by using video email (and no, they weren’t doing anything remotely related to Internet marketing or making money online).

Now, you may think that the technology required for video email is out of reach for you…or maybe even too complex. Think again. These days, literally anyone with an inexpensive webcam and an Internet connection can exploit the marketing power of video email.

During my interview with Will, we talked about how video email is fast becoming critical for online marketing success, how it engages people who might otherwise ignore you, how video email compares…head to head…with regular text-based email and much more.

To top it off, I’ve even arranged it where you can try video email for yourself…at no cost…for 30 days. No gimmicks, no catches, no fine print. It’s being provided as an opportunity for you to explore the power of video email…without any risk whatsoever. Really, the deal is a no-brainer…so don’t pass it up.

All the details are in my interview with Will below:

Disclosure - I’m a compensated affiliate. I gave you my honest review and opinion on this product. But I am also an affiliate of this product. That means if you order the product using the link I supply,I will be paid a commission on the sale.

Are you using Facebook or any other social networking site to help promote your business? If you are, how is it working out for you?

Well, if you’re like most people, you’re not getting the results you hoped for. You have your profile out there, you have a few friends or contacts…but not much else is happening.

Even with 110 million active Facebook users, the above scenario seems to be more of the rule, rather than the exception.

So this week I sat down and did a video interview with Shama Hyder. Shama is a Facebook marketing expert. And we discussed how the average person can start using Facebook as a very effective marketing tool for their business.

We covered things like how to properly setup your Facebook account (most people do it completely wrong), how to properly start growing your network of contacts (again, most people do it wrong), how to actually turn these contacts into clients…and…much more.

Now just to be clear here, Shama is not an “Internet Marketer”, as in someone who is full of hype and shallow promises. So don’t expect anything like that in this interview. Rather, she is a “New Media Marketer”, which is someone who doesn’t need to use hype because their knowledge and professionalism stand on their own.

Now onto the video. To watch my video interview with Shama, just click the play button below:

Earlier this week, I had the chance to talk with one of the “good people” on the Internet (and a web video pioneer), Cali Lewis of GeekBrief.TV.

About 2 years ago, Cali and her husband Neal decided to start a video podcast covering technology news. The problem was, they had zero experience with web video and had no clue what they were doing. But that didn’t stop them. You see, what they did have was passion, character and resiliency (3 traits you’ll always find in successful people…across all genres).

Today, their little web show (started in their spare-time) has become a full-time job…with 300,000 people downloading their webcasts…everyday.

I spoke with Cali via a video chat about how they were able to accomplish this and she openly shared quite a few priceless tips. I recorded our chat…and while the technical quality of the recording is far from perfect (that’s the nature of video chats these days)…like I said, the information Cali shares is golden.

No matter where you currently are with web video, there are two things I strongly urge you to do:

1. Watch my interview with Cali. It’s only 12 minutes long…but will shift your way of thinking.

2. Visit Cali’s site, GeekBeat.TV (don’t worry, she doesn’t sell anything). It’s one of the best examples I’ve seen of web video being executed properly…and there’s much you can learn by simply watching the shows Cali and Neal produce.

To watch my interview with Cali now, just click the play button below:

To check out Cali’s site, click here.

UPDATE: Here are links to the resources Cali mentions in the interview:

Drobo – External hard drive maker and one of Cali’s sponsors

Mevio – Where Cali recommends you upload your podcasts

Tubemogul – Video distribution service Cali recommends

Vimeo – Video sharing site…best video quality

Wizzard Player – Flash video player Cali now uses (uses RSS feeds)

Adobe After Effects – What Cali recommend for professional video graphics
