WVU #30 – Combining Two Videos On a Single Screen
Ever see interviews, news programs or talk shows on TV, where the host is talking to someone in another part of the world but both of their faces appear on the screen at the same time?
In this video tip, I show you how to achieve conversation shots like this, by taking two or more pre-recorded video clips and combining them into a single screen.

This video did not work in here but I did see it in the previous page and looks fantastic. I was wondering if you also supply the software. On the clip there was Sony video software, if you do not supply it how much does it cost.
Please answer my email as I am interested very much.
regards
Michael.

Hi Dave, Can you please include the FCP counterparts of these nice tutorials… if at all possible? Thank you,
Alec
You make it look so easy. This was just the right length too…not too much information, but enough to show us what to do.
Good editing.
Hi Dave
I agree with Richard Day above, you have the ability to make everything seem so easy. I’ve wondered many times how you could put 2 videos on the same screen – it’s a really cool technique. I’m learning so much from these video tutorials.
If you encoded the final video with stereo audio, I would pan the left and right tracks about 20-30% to provide the illusion of the left and right people speaking.
