Great content, Dave! Thanks so much.
Thanks again for this Dave. I am a loyal student and have gained so much from your course. These posts are invaluable.
Can you please produce one for lightboxing videos with JLV players as their instructions are confusing and you make things so clear.
Hi Dave,
Thanks for this one I have a Joomls site and I have been looking to use The Jw player there. You just lifted the fog on the best way to do that. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the very concise instructions and explanations. Longtail should use your tutorial on their site!!
Hi Dave,
Thanks so much for posting this. I have been looking for this exact tutorial for some time now with disappointing results until now.
However, I followed your steps exactly but the URL only generates this page of ugly code on my wordpress blog:
http://foodnetworkblog.com/playerstuff/Rake.flv
Any ideas? I even took into account case sensitivity in the URL.
Thanks again.
@Markmac417:
The problem is likely that the code you copied and pasted from the Wizard contains carriage returns that don’t belong in the embed code.
When you paste the code into Wordpress, go to the end of each line of the code and hit the delete key once (make sure this doesn’t delete any characters). This will get rid of any carriage returns, make the syntax of the code correct and make the code work correctly.
Thanks for your quick response Dave – I actually can’t even get my video to show in the wizard preview. Not sure what the deal is – followed all the FTP stuff EXACT, so the URL should be a no brainer but it just aint working. Something to do with my hosting maybe.
Hey Dave i have been having trouble implementing a HD plugin to work at my website and today i have a much better idea because of what you teach. I wish you actually had a tutorial specifically explaining how to go about it. Thanks Dave!
