WVU #55 – Create Animated Text With Wild FX
A persistent question I receive is how to do animated text in videos. And the answer usually is to use After Effects, LiveType, third-party plugins or the ProType Titler in Sony Vegas Pro. However, all of those tools require a learning curve and can be expensive.
But there is one text animation tool that is point-and-click simple…and affordable. You can see me demonstrate this tool in this video.

Hi Dave,
Fab!! I always wondered how you did those nice looking text animation!
Thx!
Has this software been updated to work with the current QuickTime? I went to its website, where it has a link to QuickTime for download — and it shows the current version.
I would like to create a short text animation to append to all of my videos.
By the way, I bought a Kodak Zi8 for half price, bought an Azden 3 channel mixer and used two Radio Shack lavaliers to shoot my first one-on-one interview — turned out really well [though my friend fiddled around with zooming, which doesn't work very well]. I’ll posting it tomorrow [11 May 2011].
Next I’ll be trying interview via Skype — just viewed your video about that.
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.
