WVU #64 – How To Instantly Improve The Quality of Video From Mobile Devices with VReveal
The majority of videos you see on the Internet were shot with mobile devices…cell phones, point-and-shoot cameras or other hand-held devices. And the video these devices produce is usually blurry, shaky, dark, pixelated and more.
There is however a fast, easy and cheap solution to these mobile-device video woes…a solution that utilizes the same technology used by police to make grainy surveillance video viewable and fuzzy license plate photos sharp.
It’s called VReveal and I demonstrate exactly how it works in this video.

Great demo Dave! I think this is an excellent tool to have in your web video tool box. Happy Holidays and thanks for another awesome tip.
Great tip!
Have you tried the stabilization feature with a higher quality
or hi-def video …. I’m wondering if it will degrade the video
or improve it like it does for the lo-def clips.
@John – The tool is intended for video from mobile devices. It has a limit on the vertical height of the video it accepts, ruling out HD footage.
