Yesterday Apple released the latest version of Final Cut Studio, which contains over 100 new features. Here’s a rundown of a few of them:
Final Cut Pro 7 : Render to multiple formats or devices at once, new ProRes options, improved rendering when resizing clips on timeline
Motion 4: 3D shadows and reflections, new filters, new text generators
Sound Track Pro 3: voice-level match, new noise reduction tools, new editing tools
Color 1.5: 4K support, better round-tripping with Final Cut, 90 new Apple designed looks
Compressor 3.5: batch encoding templates, burn DVD or Blu-Ray discs
If my descriptions above seem a bit bland, well that’s because Apple has already done a great job of detailing the new additions (including videos), which you can see by clicking here.
The retail price of this latest version of Final Cut Studio is $999. Existing user’s can upgrade for $299. This new release is expected to further cement Final Cut’s reported 50% market dominance of 1.4 million users.
