Yet another product has been launched making it simple to watch videos stored on your computer…on your TV.
The newest addition to this increasingly crowded market is Flipshare TV, from Cisco, the makers of the popular Flip video cameras.
With Flipshare TV you attach a console to your television using an HDMI cable and a USB dongle gets plugged into your computer. The two devices then communicate…wirelessly…allowing you to stream video from your computer to your TV (no fumbling around with settings required).
The catch? The videos you stream must be contained on your PC in the Flip library…this is the software that comes with Flip cameras and allows you to organize, edit and share videos online.
Flipshare TV is available now at a manufacturers suggested retail price of $149.99. To see all the specs you can visit Flip’s site by clicking here.
