If you run a blog, or any web site that distributes your content via an RSS feed, and would like that content available to mobile users in apps for the iPhone, iPad, Android or even Blackberry, there’s a service that can make it happen in 4 simple steps.
The service is called Yapper. You sign-up for an account, give them your RSS feed (you can supply up to 11 of them), choose icons and colors for you app and what device(s) you’d like an app created for. As you go through these options you see what your app will look like and how it will work…in real-time. Once done, Yapper does the rest…from actually creating your custom app to submitting to the app stores.
What’s the cost? $199 for Android or Blackberry apps and $299 for iPhone or iPad apps. They also offer additional services (including further customization) for additional costs.
