Apple Hit With Class-Action Lawsuits Over iPhone 4 Issues

A

Turns out that telling people how they should and should not hold their phone isn’t such a great idea.  That’s what Apple told scores of angry iPhone 4 users who complained about reception issues with the new phone.  And this week, the lawsuits against Apple began rolling in…four of them so far…and they’re turning into the class-action kind.

The contention is that Apple knew the iPhone 4 had reception issues when gripped a certain way, never disclosed it in their slick marketing, and thus deceived buyers.  Other than the lawyers, I’m not sure what the user’s will actually gain if the class-action lawsuits are ever settled…maybe a $20 iTunes gift card.  On the bright side, user’s seem to love the quality of the iPhone 4’s video camera(s).
