If you use the Canon Rebel T2i to shoot video (like me), you might be interested in a new firmware update that Canon has released for the camera. It fixes an issue when shooting in manual mode, where the aperture setting mysteriously adjusts by itself. But beyond that fix, updating your camera’s firmware to the latest version is always recommended.
Upgrading the firmware on the T2i is pretty straightforward, but it can be a little intimidating/confusing for those who have never done a firmware update before. The good news is that Canon provides a step by step tutorial with the new firmware files.

It doesn’t say so on the Canon site but I’m presuming this is a cumulative patch including all previous 7 firmware updates? (Never done one before!)
