Kelly Summers is a 53-year-old woman from Nottinghamshire, England. In July she and her boyfriend broke up. Rather than dealing with her heartache privately, she started a YouTube channel where she spilled her guts for the whole world to see…in over 60 videos. Yes, 60+ videos. It took six weeks, but it helped her gain her boyfriend back. Plus some other things.
ABC News picked up her story and did a profile on her. And Ms. Summers says she’s now getting lots of offers from TV and magazines. She also has no plans to stop producing videos for her YouTube channel…even though she’s got her boyfriend back.
It’s a fantastic testament to the power of video over other forms of media. After all, had she simply written blog posts, no one would have heard about her.
Of course there’s also a potential downside. You see, Ms. Summers had been dating her boyfriend…in a long-distance relationship…for about two months before they originally broke up. Why did they break up? She paid him a surprise visit to find him living with another woman and child. But now he’s done with that other life…and they’re back together. So good luck with that.

There’s one lucky guy! I liked the old days where you broke up and she just told her girlfriends and you parted ways and moved on.
