Mac vs. PC – Survey Says Apple Commercials Peg Stereotypes Accurately

M

We’ve all seen the famous Mac vs. PC commercials from Apple, where the Mac guy appears laid-back and hip while the PC guy appears uptight and corporate.  And a new survey of 388,315 people done by Hunch reveals these stereotypes are pretty accurate, along with quite a few other entertaining differences.

For example, 54% of PC users have completed college.  For Mac users, the number is 67%.  69% of PC users would go for a Harley.  52% of Mac users would go for a Vespa.  Mac users are 80% more likely than PC users to be vegetarians.  And PC people are 43% more likely to say that talking about computers is like speaking a foreign language…while Mac people are 21% more likely to consider themselves computer gear-heads.

The list actually goes on and on.  How scientifically accurate it is will of course be debated.  But it’s entertaining nonetheless.
