I subscribe to dozens of RSS feeds. And for a long time…like most people…I had the content from all of these RSS feeds delivered to me via email.
The problem was that all of this information coming to my inbox…all day long…got a little bit annoying. And when mixed with the normal volume of regular emails I received, all the RSS stuff was starting to getting ignored.
That’s when I found an elegant RSS reader called Times, that allows you to arrange and view your RSS feeds just as if you were reading a newspaper. But rather than trying to explain exactly how this works, I thought I would put together a video demonstration of Times instead.
Click on the image below to watch the demonstration now (if you’re a Firefox user, you’ll need to be using Firefox 3.0 or above to watch this video):
If you’d like to check out Times yourself, it’s available from Acrylic Software here. It runs around $30 and is well worth the money if you subscribe to a lot of RSS feeds. The only drawback is that this software is only available for Mac users. So if any Windows users out there know of software comparable to Times, please leave a comment and let me know about it.

Nice video demo Dave. I’m actually a die hard fan of http://www.google.com/reader. It’s a little clunky setting it up, but, once you get the hang of it, you can very quickly, and very easily browse hundreds of different blogs. It’s also web based so you’re not limited to the Mac vs. PC pickle.
Dave,
I did a search and came up with FeedDemon from Newsgator.

It looks a lot like a Microsoft Explore window! Boooorrring! They say the newest version offers a Newspaper UI.
It is free to download.
