I Just Bought These Stock Video Clips…You May Be Interested In Them Too

I

It’s always good to have stock video clips around.  You never know when you might need one…no matter what type of video project you’re working on.

But there are two big problems with stock video clips.  One, they can be expensive…up to $50 or more for a single HD clip.  And two, since a fair number of stock clips on the Internet are not professionally shot, the quality can often be suspect.

That’s why I just jumped on a new collection of stock clips from Digital Juice.  They call it their VideoTraxx HD collection.  All the clips are shot at a minimum of 60 frames per second (meaning all the clips have a nice slow motion effect), they were all shot with Phatom or Red cameras (Hollywood style cameras) and they are all professionally produced.

The collection contains over 700 clips, all in full 1920×1080 HD, and it spans 20 different categories…from “around the house” to “hand to hand combat” to “business situations” and beyond.  All of the clips are 100% royalty-free and most of them are breathtaking.

The retail price for this collection of clips is $499 (they come on 25 DVD’s).  But at the time I’m writing this post, they have them on sale for $249.  That comes out at around 36 cents per clip.  And again, most stock clips at this quality level usually sell for $50 to $100…a piece.

So if you’re looking to add some stock clips to your tool chest, VideoTraxx is the collection I recommend.  To put it bluntly, it’s the best deal on stock clips I’ve ever seen.

If you’d like to see these clips up close and personal (or even order the package), they are available on the Digital Juice site…and you can go there now by clicking here.

  • I got the clips over the weekend…it appears they removed the special price on Monday. But I’d check back on their site often…they frequently run deals so I expect the $249 offer will appear again at some point.

  • ***** As of 6/26/2009 this collection is again available at $249.95. It will most likely been gone tommorow again and not available for another 30 days(ish)*****
