The Do’s and Don’ts of Twitter For Business Owners

T

Twitter is one of the fastest growing forms of social media.  Problem is when it comes to Twitter, many business owners are using it the wrong way.

Now I openly admit that while I’m a Twitter user, I am not a Twitter expert.  However, my friend Shama Hyder is.  And recently she was interviewed by a Dallas news show on Twitter etiquette.

Whether you’re a Twitter newbie or an experienced user, there is much to learn from Shama’s interview.  To watch it now, just click the play button below:

  • This was a great video. I wasn’t aware of the Twitter Yellow Pages – that should be very helpful for businesses and I agree that Twitterers whether personal or business need to be focussed and add some kind of value because nobody’s interested in what jam you’re putting on your toast or what color shirt you’re putting on. Thanks for the post.

  • By Twitter “Yellow pages” I suspect the Click to Client lady was referring to Twellow, which is pretty good for finding like minded people/business entities. Another handy source I use to find ppl/biz in my niche markets are TwitSeeker, which semi-automates the process of adding specific ppl/biz to my social media circle.
