I’ve done several posts on this blog about my friend Shama Hyder…like here, here and here. Shama is a social media marketing expert…someone who truly walks the talk…and I don’t hesitate in recommending her products and services to anyone. I’m not alone in those thoughts either, as Shama has been a featured speaker at BlogWorld and is routinely interviewed by the likes of Business Week, FastCompany and About.com, not to mention major newspapers and television shows.
Shama and I first “met” through our mutual blogs about a year and a half ago. Back then she was known as Shama Hyder and her company was known as After The Launch. Since then, she’s gotten married (hence the name change) and her business has grown and evolved dramatically. As part of this growth, her business first became known as Click To Client and in the past week it has evolved into The Marketing Zen Group.
This change was done to reflect Shama’s longtime “zen” business model, which makes the process of online marketing easy and stress-free for her clients…instead of daunting and complex. In addition, it meshes perfectly with her major new book release, called The Zen of Social Media Marketing, due out in March 2010.
