About a month ago, right before the first iPads were released, HP pimped marketing videos for their competing product, called the HP Slate, which ran Windows 7.  Now it’s rumored that HP is dropping the Slate entirely, or at the very least, Windows 7 from the Slate. The reason seems to be performance and battery life…they just can’t seem to match the iPad under the Windows 7...
