Interesting news this morning. Google is set to acquire On2 Technologies.  On2 is the maker of Flix video encoding software (among other things).  They also make (arguably) the best video encoding codec for Flash; VP6.  It’s the codec Adobe licenses for use in their Flash authoring tools…and one of my personal favorites.
