About a year ago, CNET ran a comparison to see which video site offered user’s the best quality (Vimeo won). This week, they decided to do a similar comparison…except with HD video.
They also changed the rules a bit…last year they took things into consideration like upload times (which can vary by a user’s Internet connection speed). This year, they only focused on two things; video quality and value. For value, that means whether a site is free or you have to pay to upload videos.
This year’s contenders were Blip.TV, DailyMotion, FaceBook, SmugMug, Vimeo and YouTube.
So who won? What video site provides the best HD quality viewing experience, according to CNET? The answer will surprise you. It did me.

YouTube’s video quality has gotten better but still I hate the bunch of adds and the ‘related’ videos pull the the engine shown on the player.
I love the quality of Motionbox and for the price and the unlimited file size upload and other features, to me is a real winner.
