Clicker Becomes The TV Guide For Web Video

C

There are many web sites that aggregate web video.  However, none of them to this point have been very exciting.

That all changed this week when Clicker moved from beta testing, to open for the public.  The result is a web site that not only aggregates web video in a very elegant way, but behaves much like a TV guide for web video.

For example, want to see if a favorite show of yours is available online?  Just enter the show title and Clicker will give you the results (I entered Leave It To Beaver in this example):

Or maybe you want to search for a particular person.  Say for example, Clint Eastwood:

Clicker will return all the movies, TV shows, interviews and talks shows where that person appears (provided the videos are available on the web).

At this point Clicker only works for premium content type of video…not user-generated video.  I’m guessing in the future that will change.

But in the meantime, Clicker has instantly become the clear-cut winner in the video aggregation wars.
