It’s rumored that the folks at WordPress have submitted a new WordPress app to Apple…WordPress for iOS 2.7.1 …that will support video uploads from the iPad 2. With most of the attention about video cameras on the iPad 2 centering around FaceTime and video chat, WordPress is focusing on another advantage; ultra-mobile publishing.
If word about the new app is true and it’s approved by Apple, it means that bloggers will now be able to shoot video, edit video and upload that video to their WordPress blogs…using nothing more than the iPad 2. And a wi-fi connection. Or in a pinch, the slower connection from their wireless provider.
Should the app ever makes it’s way into the app store, I’ll be sure to try it out…and share my review here or on my video podcast site.
Very cool. I just ordered an Ipad2 for a teleprompter last week and it will not be shipping for a few weeks. Looking forward to seeing the image quality of the video and test driving this app when they release it. Thanks Dave.
