ScreenToaster Snatched Up By Veodia

S

About 6 months ago, I did a post about a great new web site called ScreenToaster that allowed anyone to easily record whatever they saw on their screen…for free…and with absolutely no software to install.

A few months later, I did another post about ScreenToaster and the new tools they had added, based largely on user feedback.

And today I’m doing yet another post about ScreenToaster…because they were just acquired by the enterprise level video platform provider Veodia.

So if you’re keeping score, that means in a period of about 6 months, ScreenToaster went from unknown beta-release startup…to being snatched up by another company.  Just goes to show you how fast you can find success on the Internet when you solve a problem for people and do it well.

How exactly this aquisition will effect current ScreenToaster user’s isn’t clear yet.  Veodia plans to integrate ScreenToaster as another tool they offer their enterprise-level clients.  Whether or not this means ScreenToaster, as the free tool we know it, will cease to exist, remains to be seen.

So on the off chance either the folks behind ScreenToaster or Veodia happen to see this post, please leave a comment letting us know what the future holds for ScreenToaster.
